BIO-FED ist Experte für die Entwicklung, Compoundierung und Vermarktung biologisch abbaubarer und/oder biobasierter Kunststoffe unter dem Markennamen M·VERA®. Das Unternehmen wurde im Oktober 2014 als Zweigniederlassung der AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH (www.akro-plastic.com) gegründet und gehört somit zur Feddersen-Gruppe (www.kdfeddersen.com).
Die BIO-FED ist Spezialist für innovative und anwendungsorientierte Biopolymer Compounds. Je nach Anforderungsprofil sind diese Compounds ganz oder teilweise aus nachwachsenden Rohstoffen hergestellt, in verschiedenen Umgebungen biologisch abbaubar oder für den dauerhaften Einsatz geeignet.
BIO-FED nutzt die Produktion der AKRO-PLASTIC und kooperiert eng mit der weiteren Zweigniederlassung AF-COLOR (www.af-color.com) bei der Entwicklung und dem Vertrieb von biologisch abbaubaren Farb-, Schwarz- und Additivmasterbatches mit dem Markennamen AF-Eco®. AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH und AF-COLOR haben ihren Sitz im rheinland-pfälzischen Niederzissen. Dort betreibt auch BIO-FED ein eigenes Labor für Forschung und Entwicklung.
Jobbeschreibung
As the competence centre for sustainable polymer solutions within the Feddersen Group, BIO-FED is involved in the development, production and distribution of biobased, biodegradable and recycled plastics. Being part of an international group of companies, BIO-FED has a broad network that ranges from research and development, manufacturing and processing technology to the distribution of engineering plastics and bioplastics.

- Development of a plan for the establishment of the recycling business segment and execution of the plan
- Development of new suppliers and business models
- In cooperation with sales and product management, develop marketing tools and market introduction plans for recycled thermoplastics
- Be the expert for recycled thermoplastic materials and provide support to colleagues as well as business partners
- Project management in cooperation with the sales and distribution partners to develop an application development project pipeline for the recycling business segment
- Regular visits of suppliers, customers and distribution partners
- Regular reporting and preparation of business plans for the area of responsibility
- Helping to build and expand a young, innovative and fast-growing business area
- Working as part of an energetic international team
What excites US
- Engineering degree or alternatively a commercial background with a focus on marketing/project management
- Industry-specific expertise related to thermoplastics and their recycling
- Knowledge of plastics processing is desirable
- Experience in sales and application development is an advantage
- Professional level of English is needed, German and other foreign languages are an advantage
- Willingness to accept high level of business travel
